FLIPSIDE 400,How do you carry your gear for wildlife? here is a video how i do it.

Yes,I have 2 short wrist straps I made on the camera to clip to it works well.
 
Interesting clip....great to see how you have adapted the 400 to take the additional pouches on the waist band...
 
When I carry my camera or bins attached to D rings/split rings on my rucsac straps, I use a loop of dyneema cord (about 10" long) with a Wichard style snap hook attached (I used to use McGizmo clips - but I found them prone to detaching :eek: ). I loop the cord through the camera strap fixing and attach the clip to the D ring/split ring. I find the split rings quite sturdy enough.

Do those pouches attach to single sliplock loops or do they thread through two?

I don't carry my camera like that much any more because I tend to get to my destination before getting the camera out (especially with the big lens). If I'm wandering about whilst taking photos, I tend to use a side-access rucsac (Lowe Pro Fastpac) and when I get it out, I hang the camera around my neck with a TP strap :)

When I go walking, I tend to use a compact camera in a pouch attached to the rucsac and my bins hung from the shoulder straps of a 'regular' walking sac. I find it difficult to consolidate 'big kit' photography with walking - especially when with company (too much stopping and starting).
 
if i take it with me its because i am looking for specific birds/animals to photograph i dont take all that gear otherwise.

i allways have it ready as you can miss a shot otherwise.

imho the flipsides are the best i will do one for the 300 soon which is my urban/rock and roll setup
