Not a lot to do today, so I thought I might have a play with Combine ZM, a free piece of Photo software (kindly pointed out by Alby).

Best subject I could find was some small flower clusters on a bush in the garden (dont know what it is, but it seems to always flower this time of year),

Individual flowers are about 6-7mm across to indicate some sense of scale.

1, Standard shot focused on stamen tip, f 10 I believe.

2, Stack of 11 shots run through CombineZM.

3, Stack of 6 shots run through Combine ZM.

Obviously all the above were with the camera tripod mounted, (think I will have to make a "lightbox" for future use to get a bit better lighting).

Definately will be having more plays with this, be interesting to find out its, and my, limitations.

Thank you for looking,

Very interesting set, and great to see the effects of stacking using combineZM, the eleven stack shot shows very well how much more DOF you can gain. Thanks for posting.

very nicely done, seem a lil dark though?

Thank you, Probably erred on the dark side a bit so the whites in the flowers didnt blow, which would have made it all a bit meaningless, possibly could go a notch brighter though.
