Some pictures from the Garden today, playing about with 'close ups' at 300mm.

Not sure what type of fly this is.

A purple flower

Another fly, not sure if i like this one or not yet.

All shot in RAW handheld at 300mm, cropped, levels and sharpened.

I like the first one - maybe a hoverfly? (I have no idea when it comes to bugs and flowers!)

Go with Hoverfly ... great detail ppp ! You can even see its large stabilisers very clearly ... BotB for me !
