My OH was given some flowers. Would have been churlish not to use them :D so I popped the Raynox on the 55-250 (100mm is about 1:1 with this combo). They were shot with available light only, living room ceiling lights.

1) A lilly of some sort.

I don't know what the next three are, but I just kept getting closer :D

5) Look into the heart of the flower. I don't know what it is.

number 1 could do with a little more room to the side of the bit in focus, otherwise its great (y) Number 2 out of the others for me :)

Thanks very much Ruth, is this any better ?

Thank you. John, I've not found an easy way of focus stacking as yet on the mac, nor do I have a set of rails to take the shots with. Given the effects of diffraction, is it worth stopping the lens down even more, say f18 or f20 for a little more DOF ? I guess it's best for objects like this to keep at around 100mm on the telephoto lens.
