Fluffy Cat Winter Scene

I took this on Christmas day and everyone I know who isn't into photography loves the photo. For me and my wife it's a special moment as it shows our cat, Smudge, looking out onto her favourite place to play/hunt just outside the front of our house.

I wanted to get some un-biased crit of it as a photo, though. So all comments welcome. Thanks

I like it. Composition is good, perspective is a plus and it's a picture that tells a story. Usually an animal looking away from the camera makes for a weak subject, but not this time. The focus is maybe a tad soft, and the contrast could perhaps be boosted a touch...but those are a matter of taste.
