Focus Screen Cleaning

Is there any advice on Canon 40D focus screen cleaning? Mine has a few specs that will not blow away.

Noticed how easy it is to change but what about cleaning it?

It is possible but be careful as they are easy to scratch.
If possible use a pair of plastic tweezers to remove it and use something like a sensorklear or a lenspen to clean it.

I've previously been a bit clumsy and dropped one slightly while refitting it and I managed to scratch it.

No - the auto-focus sensors are in the bottom oof the camera.

ok no worries, the specs do my head, i may just get the ef-d screen and save the hassle of trying to clean it.

Well verdict from last night, used a lenspen to clean and i have to say so much better, no specs of dust/grime in the view finder now.

chuffed, I was expecting the screen to be a little more flimsy bit of plastic but its fairly rigid.
