Spent weekend in Vale of Glamorgan with other half. Saw these folk on the beach. Sky was bland and overcast.

Thanks for looking Foodpoison and for the advice much appreciated :)

Had a go at boosting colours but don't think it works. Anyone want to have a go at editing see if you can do better :shrug:
Just let me know what you did :)

Went to greysacle, then duo-toned adding a bit of yellow and fiddled with the colour to add a little atmosphere (oh and a 180 flip!) Would have prfered the people walking into the frame to draw your eye across the horizon.
 
Dull days are so hard to get right are they not? These are decent.

Thanks for looking guys. Thought about converting the image to mono but wanted to stick with colour :)
 
First isn't so strong, I think the couple need to be walking into the frame, not out of it.

Second is compositionally sound-if you could tease some more detail in the sky, inducing a mood, then I think it would work.
 
Thanks for the feedback Les. Tried adding an interesting sky by dodging and burning but I think I need more practice with these tools :)
