Hi guys,

Wondering if anyone can help me out with some good Forest Of Dean locations?

I'm heading down there Sunday for an engagement shoot and myself nor the couple have been there before. I've been trying to scout some locations but having a bit of difficulty. Seen some really nice pictures of the area but no idea of getting to these spots?

Ideally looking for some bluebell fields, nice foresty/tall tree areas and some pretty lakes.

I'm looking to get down there an hour or two before them to do some scouting regardless, but any additional help would be much appreciated.

Also, if anyone knows of a decent pub (or cafe, anywhere with a postcode!) where we could meet up and discuss for half hour that would be good too.

A good way I find is to use Google Maps locate the area your interested in then make a list of the place names, then goto flickr and search using those names. You get plenty of ideas that way.
 
That shothotspot website is an absolute godsend! What a great idea.
Also Andy, big fan of the Cannop Ponds, they look great so making a note of this too.
