What is the best way to save a full res image for printing, as in format..?

Also what sort of dpi value should i be looking at..?

If anyone has any good links or anything about this as well would be much appreciated

Thanks,

Tyler

Are you going to be printing yourself or sending to a lab?

If the latter speak to the lab and ask what their requirements are.

I'd say a 300ppi tiff file in Adobe 1998 RGB colourspace. For specific lab req's, you can then save from this master tiff to the required lab spec.

most labs will want it as 300dpi and sRGB but youdon't have to specify the DPI for normal saving

As well as saving in sRGB i's also opt for a low compression JPEG . Photoshop 10 or better. This prevents artefacts when the file is reopened for printing
