Just got some of the lee filters free samples just having a play with a blue one on a white backdrop. The results are pretty good check out sample below. c&c welcome.

Use a grey background if you want the colour to be more saturated

Nice shot, ive just started messing with gels, and like garry said grey backdrop will help, also Garry mentioned on another thread, dont forget to trying using more than one at a time for different results.
