One of two Mirage F1s from l’Armee de l’Air sent to RIAT 2013 is seen here in low level.This jet was from Escadron de Reconnaissance 2/33 Savoie, based at Mont de Marsan in Acquitane near the Spanish border. This is the reconnaissance version of the Mirage F1, one of the last 16 of the type that remain in Armee de l’Air service, soon to be retired in favour of the Rafale. This one wears a special scheme commemorating 100 years of French military aerial reconnaissance.
