i can see what your after, but i think you need a slightly rockier beach to add a bit more interest

It's not bad, I think it could do with a slight straighten and some of the colours seem a bit off. would definately benefit from a bit more foreground interest some rock or a lump of wood or something.

Like your shot Fred, the clouds look like you were just about due a downpour ! Just to let you know it's actually Compton Bay. Let me know when you want to take another shot & I'll drop off a couple of rocks & some driftwood !

Many thanks for the comments, tts my bad timing there are some rocks etc at low water

The yellow cliff is pretty true to the colour as I saw it. The beach may be a tad over saturated
