So yeah this is one of my favourites in my collection, this was the 27 Feb 2014 in caithness just along from John O'groats and possibly my favorite night shooting the northern lights, I would write down the camera details but I can't remember at the moment bit I will sort them out for you folks . it could well be im not sure was pointing northwest in February if that helps any lol

Pleiades (correct spelling this time) is around west in Feb. Maybe another star group.

There's nothing like an aurora alert to guarantee that the sky will be cloudy. Sadly I missed all the auroras this year due to cloud so congratulations for getting this beauty.
