Be careful Joe he is in breeding plumage, and he has a glint in his eye

I tell you truthfully, its sharp and well composed ... but are the Chaffinches that shy around your way that you need a 400 f2.8 and 1.7TC to get them

Looks like he's been painted on tbh and that leaf in front is distracting/annoying Joe... :shrug:


But sharp and lovely colours with a nice composition make it otherwise a pleasing image...

A nice shot, the tones and composition are good. If I'm honest though, the leaf covering his left leg is a little misplaced. Makes him look like a peg leg! Alas, nature is a cruel, cruel mother
