Front focusing Sigma

After hearing my Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX Macro should be sharper t F2.8 (it's pin sharp at F4) I decided to test it for front / back focusing and have discovered it front focusing by about 10-15mm. The lens is second hand as it was bought as a kit with the camera from fleabay.

To rectify this do I have to sent the lens to Sigma? Or can any camera specialist fix it?

Other than F2.8, I am really happy with the performance of the lens. It's much nicer than the 18-55mm IS that I have and I'm loathed to get rid of it, if it can be fixed.

i'd send it to sigma. take a look at their tariffs:

if your repair falls under their 'Minor adjustments' section then it will cost 37.99 for the fix, but best give them a call and ask for a price, but it is easily fixed by them.

as above give them a shout, theyre really helpful. theyll probably ask to look at it to quote and if you dont want to proceed then you just have to pay for postage and a small admin fee.
