So far so good, I have not tried it on moving objects yet .
One benefit is is a lot lighter than the Canon 100-400
This was just a grab shot taken on the balcony from about 15 feet
Love mine with the 1.4tc. Never need a tripod, even when the light is rubbish. It's light enough to lug around all day. It's never been off the xpro2, worth every penny.
Other than the first 4 (the Harley, the flies and the panorama), all the shots in HERE were taken using this lens with the 1.4x telecon. All handheld, in assorted states of sobriety! Love the setup on the X-T1 and the X-Pro1.
Top right, beside the picture (in a browser, not sure about the apps) shows basic EXIF. Most of the shots are wide open (which is f/8 at the long end with the telecon)
Mine is in the post so maybe time to wake up this thread and see some more images. Have used all the obvious rivals extensively on safari, and often multiple copies, like Canon 100-400mm 1 and 2, Nikon 200-500mm VR, Sigma 50-500mm, 150-500mm, Canon 400mm 5.6 L, 300mm 2.8 L so be interesting to see strengths and weaknesses on the Fuji.
I've used it on an X-T2 and X-T10 and didn't have any real faults to speak of, AF is excellent (slightly better on an X-T2), I imagine on the newest bodies it's even better as Fuji glass tends to improve in that respect when attached to the newest gear.
