Exactly! The Xpro1 isn't worth selling for what enjoyment it provides me.
I take between 1500 and 1800 shots a month it seems, 80% are relegated to the trash for not quite having the right framing, not having the focus quite right or perhaps a tab overly exposed leaving blown highlights (im terrible for that!).
I'll keep the xpro1, an xpro2 and shall get an xt2 with grip and 18-135 along side a tripod (no more than £200 worth) which should act as an does all lens and maybe the 10-24 as I'll just about have the funds from what's being traded in.
or camera jungle
Yes but not as nice as the bayer x100 imhoDoes the XP1 genuinely produce nicer/more film like images compared to newer Fujis or is it a figment of the imagination?
Many believe it does, myself included. It's only really since the xtrans iii in the XT2 and xpro2 that that feeling is coming back. The xe2, xe2s and xt1 are all superb cameras and much faster than the Xpro1 but they lost some of the warmth, emotion and over all character that the Xpro1 produced which I why I've always kept it. Now I'm attached and I'll not be letting go any time soon that's for sure.Does the XP1 genuinely produce nicer/more film like images compared to newer Fujis or is it a figment of the imagination?
Thanks. Interesting, I might have to try an XP1 and X100 at some point too thenMany believe it does, myself included. Thats a good question Toby for those with both,im going to hazard an unseen guess and say the xpro 1 is still more film likeas im thinking the better res of the 24mp fujis are sharper but as our friend said probably the newer trans perhaps less digital compared to the xe2 xt1.be good to hear opinions, whatever the answer still not be like the x100Thanks. Interesting, I might have to try an XP1 and X100 at some point too thenHow close is the XT2 to the XP1 in terms of this film quality?
