(Re-posting here as I think it got a bit lost in the xt1 owners thread!).

Does anyone know if more recent batches of the X-T1 have improved rear d pad buttons to make them more 'clicky'?

Have read online that this has been the case with an improved card door too to fix light leak issues. Any truth in this? If so is there a certain batch of serial numbers i should look for to ensure i'd be getting a recent version (i'd prob be buying from panamoz)?

Thanks

Yes, I bought mine quite a long time ago and it was improved (months ago).

I bought mine from Panamoz last July / August time and it had the clicky d -pad. The one I bought from the refurb shop around that time didn't.

If your buying a new one today you will not have any problems at all.

Ah finally, this explains why I couldn't understand what people were complaining about with d-pad. I've had my X-T1 for about a month now and have found the buttons to be absolutely fine
