Fuji X100T exposure preview question/problem

I may be losing the plot here, but I've got a question about my Fuji X100T.

I would expect the EVF/Live View to show the exposure as it will be when the picture is taken, but in some modes it doesn't do so. I can't find any way to make this happen. Help!

Settings as follows:

Aperture: Auto
Shutter speed: manually set to 1/125th
ISO: manually set to 200
Scene is an unlit room, so too dark for the widest aperture of f/2.0. The resulting exposure is v.dark, but when shown on Live View and on the histogram, it looks fine (though the aperture figures shown are red not blue indicating a problem).

If I take the aperture off Auto, I then get the scene shown correctly on Live View i.e. too dark.

So, how can I get this sorted such that with a manually selected shutter and ISO and auto aperture, that the viewfinder will reflect the exposure the camera will produce?

Andy, I do not actually have the X-100T but if the menus are similar to the X-100s then what I think you're trying to do is in the lower part of the menu (Blue 2) settings under "Screen Setup", go into that menu and look for "PREVIEW EXP. IN MANUAL MODE" and switch that on or off accordingly.

As I said I think that is what you are trying to do and that's how it's done on a X-100s.

Hi George - I did try that and it's effective in manual mode (i.e. aperture & shutter selected manually), but not in what I'd call shutter priority mode (shutter set manually, aperture on auto) as described above. Thanks though!
