"FinePix F100fd packs 12MP Super CCD, high sensitivity up to ISO 12800 and the latest Face Detection Technology 3.0 Following the long line of award-winning F-Series models"

So, my query is, ISO 12800?

Little red flag is being waved! :wacky:

One day, marketing will eat itself.

You know what sickens me? Fuji were SO close to having the ultimate compact camera. Their sensor is EXCELLENT, but like everyone else, they get involved in the Megapixel race.

As a result, purely on image quality, ever subsequent 'upgrade' to the f10 has been a step backwards.

12mp and ISO 12800? Why on earth should we bother?

Is anyone out there printing A2 from a compact? If so, WHY?

Cheers,
James

had the good old megapixel arguement with the girlfriend the other day......

'mines a 12.1mp Kodak so its better than your 10.1mp Canon 40D'

'I dont know why you spend so much....'

then her battery died half way through the play off final :)

Deep in the specs

(ISO 12800, ISO 6400 at 3M recorded pixels or lower)
