Full Frame On A Budget

Decided a few weeks ago I fancied a full frame canon and with na budget of £500 the initial plan was going to be a 5D mk1,however at the Wolverhampton camera fair I cane across a 1Ds Mk1 in seriously good condition within my budget.
Yesterday at the Midlands motor museum it got it's first real workout and to say I am pleased with it is putting it mildly.The images were on a canon 24-85 USM wide open but still I feel the quality is amazing for an 8 year old DSLR

Not sure the improved quality is evident from small low res images, but hope you enjoy using the camera!

Good point Andy but yes the camera despite it's age is a joy to use and the tonality appers as good as if not better than my much more modern 60D ,heaven knows how good a 1DX must be,will need a lottery win to find that out
