last one for me, the others theres to much happening in the background. Also maybe try a slightly slower shutter speed to get the wheels blurred to give a sense of speed.Nice sharp focus on them (y)

:agree: Nice sharp pics but lack of motion coming from them. Perhaps on the first three crop more from the top to remove distractions?

I'd have to echo the previous comments. Nice sharp images but lacking in wheel motion to give any sense of movement.

3 and 5 for me! I agree try a lowershutter to get some movment into the wheels

thank for the advice, will try using a slower shutter speed in my next event in 2 weeks time.

Mrk 2 Escort is awersome......... and the pictures good too.

think you got yourself in a top position there.

Great photos

I think these are a pretty good start. With a little bit slower a shutter speed then you would catch the wheels moving which helps the cars look more active. Im also a big fan of very low angles with rally shots, you can see that most of my shots on my thread from the galway rally are shot from a crouched/prone type position instead of standing. It gives a much more pleasing view of the car as you are on level with it.

Above the car works but only if you can get significantly higher than the car to amplify that effect.

Getting lower down would also have helped.Nice to look at though, thanks.
Pons.

That would be my preference too, a lower perspective can sometimes let you use a higher shutter speed and still give the feel of motion.
