hi all

i have been lucky enough to have been lent a canon 60mm 2.8 usm macro by a neighbour whilst he is on holiday so i got out in the garden to have a play

this is my 1st go with a dedicated macro lens so all C+C welcome :bonk: lol

Very good effort for first time, macro aint easy (y)
 
Good first efforts - try a smaller aperture to try and eek out as much DOF as you can
 
Not bad, I like the wasp shot and am wondering what that is creeping out below the leaf. :D

its not a easy subject I'm just learning but its great fun, next door neighbour keeps looking at me a bit funny i keep talking to the insects it gets to yuo but stick at it

i know the feeling mick i think my neighbours thought id compleatly lost it this arvo lol

little do they know i have actually compleatly lost it lol ;)
