Not too sure Min ... best guess is some form of Shield Bug ... possibly Red-legged ... :thinking:

Those middle two are of the Hummingbird Hawkmoth (Macroglossum stellatarum) Ken ... :eek:

Did you drug it ... :cautious:

Found it inside the gazebo, lying on the floor one morning. I put it in a jar and the fridge...cos I didn't have the time to photograph it then. When I got round to it this is how it came out. Found the last one crawling the outside of the gazebo....so anyone wanting to do some macro, put up a gazebo!!!
 
My lad caught these in the garden, and they happily posed for the shots.
Flash was a bit overpowering as these were taken hand held.
