Some cheap old Nikon I've had for ages and a few cheap 2nd hand lenses ;)
 
A few cameras, lots of lenses, bags, filters, batteries & flashes, a few tripods, more AA batteries than I know what to do with, straps, slings, remotes, hoods, studio lights, backgrounds and other bits that I currently cannot remember.

everything that i have is in my signature below, obviously there is more than that in terms of accessories but you can find them in my camera bag option in my profile!

I think that sums everything up nicely. If everyone makes sure their profile and 'Camera Bag' tab is upto date there is no need to spill your guts on a thread like this is there?

Why should I keep it up to date?

For the most part, any kit that I have is utterly irrelevant. If it revolves around a photograph, then the Exif is usually fully intact.

I'd just be careful, on threads of this nature, you may well be opening up yourself to thieves who may be lurking these forums for gullible victims :shrug:

you dont have to keep it upto date, however it stops threads like this which if anything should be in OOF as to me its just going to turn into a willy waving contest.:p
 
Why on earth would I want to share this sort of info with anyone else, on a thread or in a profile? This is private.

Agreed re the willy waving, which is why I think that the whole listing of kit thing is daft. However I was responding to this specific comment which seemed to imply that everybody should fill it in:

Maybe I should have added the caveat "if they want to", no one is forcing anyone to declare anything.

My suggestion was that if someone wanted to, there was already a place on your profile to list your kit without the need to fill a thread with this stuff.

But remember, only if you want to..... ;)
