Geese In Flight

Yet another shot from my recent excursions around Watermead Country Park. Got this shot of a pair of geese in flight over the lake practising my panning technique, what do you reckon?

Thanks everyone! Settings were f/8, 1/250s, ISO 400, AF-C with focus priority, Group Dynamic AF with centre point set, matrix metering.

Good shot, a faster shutter speed would have helped reduce the amount of wing blur though.

Thanks Ken. I was simply set to shoot some birds on the water when these two came past. I actually like the blur, a little akin to capturing prop blur when shooting airshows.

I agree it's not unpleasant, and does give a sense of movement, you just now need to get one pulling vapour on a tight turn

Good efforts but just a bit too much wing blur for me,up the shutter speed for a bit less blur ,
