Critique Genetic engineering or genetic madness?

For the Mundane Monday thread I had intended to post an image of a 'bancar' (the theme was something beginning with B).

And the 'bancar' was to be half banana and half carrot.

Anyway I have now done it but it hasn't turned out quite as intended. Problem is, I can't quite work out what it is about the image .......

Yes - it hasn't worked - I originally intended it to be on the theme of genetic engineering by combining a carrot and a banana - I couldn't call it a 'carban' because it had to begin with a B. Ithen started to change it when I actually got the carrot. So now it's neither some deep social comment or a good example of the great British fascination with oddly shaped vegetables so I've deleted it.
