Just a heads up to say that i have just bought a GGS perfect viewfinder from Amazon for £40 & it works superbly on my GF1....much cheaper than the LVF from panasonic...it's 3x magnification gives you a wicked view & makes manual focusing a breeze in any light

it's not a perfect fit on the GF1 as it's meant for 4/3 lcd screens but it still works fine....below are a few crappy phone piccies of it fitted to my GF1....highly recommended product & a great alternative to expensive LVFs

it comes with a self adhesive screen protector that sticks on to the lcd & you clip the viewfinder on to it
 
Is'nt the GF1 supposed to be a compact type dslr hybrid? Surely this attachment defeats.the purpose of such cameras.

It's not a compact if you stick a 300mm zoom lens on it either but that's part of the fun of owning these cameras
