Ghostly Heron

I take the dog out everyday and always take my camera just in case, it was very misty yesterday.However, this heron landed close by and I had my 70-200 on, is this beyond any help?

Though I like it as is, because it is very natural.

The shot is just as it landed.

The shot has an almost eerie feel to it but I really do like it.

I, personally, would have preferred to see a bit less sky and more foreground but it remains a very nice shot!

I think its a lovely shot, like Anton I think it might be better if in the 1st shot the horizon was higher but its great considering how little time you had to take the shot =)

looks like he didn't see you n' landed too close for comfort because of the mist!
