OK, the first shot was taken at an outdoor small stage with reasonable lighting - Oasis tribute.
The second was taken in a pub with virtually no lighting:) It was very difficult and this was about the best of the bunch.
How'd I do?

I agree with above comments. The first is great. really sharp, nice colours. The second would have been better if more of the singer was visible. I know that this is really hard. Mikes are always in the way.
Was that first all stage lights, no flash? :clap:
 
like the first one, but a bit more crop and there is a wonky horizontal in there too that I'd fix

I'd crop to just include the light on the top left
outdoor stages are great for gigs....
2nd one...it is a bit soft but these gigs are hard I think. however, there's not enough of the singer in there, mainly it's his hands
personally I hate microphones. always getting in a 'toggers way!!
 
I also like the first one, I dont think you have got the focus right on the second.

1st one is nice, maybe a tighter crop and slight adjustment of the angle (slightly ****ed perhaps)

2nd one not really alot to say tbh, its just not worked for you if im honest
