Bump bumpGuys,
Has anyone used the Gigapan epic 100 with there M9 to shoot Panoramas ???
Neil
Yep you are probley right but I have made my mind up to get one (Epic 100) and give it a blast on my M9-P with a new 90mm Summicron.........I was just hoping that I would have found someone else on this forum that has had hands on experience rather that surmising what it would be like..............but anyway thanks for your input Richard, lets see if anyone else has anything good to say about the gigapan
Yep thats exactly what I want it for Richard so that I can make large detailed panoramas to sale on my website; and you are 100% correct saying the Leica is going to be a challenge ..it has been a huge learning curve for me going from a D3s to a Leica but there is just something about it that keeps the D3s in the dry cabinet and the Leica around my neck.Gigapan is great if you want what it does, ie complex multi-row panos - up/down as well as left/right, up to 360 degrees, dozens of frames. Very specialised kit.
But you still need a nodal pivot for critically accurate close subject stitching, and a Leica will just make everything a lot harder!
