I went to the edinbrugh fringe yesterday.

I was using my 85mm f1.8 I bought it second hand with drit in between the elements, I notice a few more pices have arrived, I'm getting scared to use it.

Can I lamanate my lens?

Think it might be a bit lumpy for a laminator. Anyway, the fringe ain't THAT grubby. I would suggest a god wipe down with a cloth to try n keep it clean.
And besides, You'll never manage to get your tongue inside the lens.
