I've been looking at the possibility of getting one of these for table top and occasional product photography.
So basically looking for any thoughts, both positive and negative, to help me decide.

It's an OK product, but why do you think that you need a variable colour temperature continuous light for this purpose? Flash is far better, won't be affected by ambient light levels.

Basically it's a decent video light, marketed as a one-stop solution for all kinds of photography

Thy do one which is daylight only, but not much cheaper though.
I just wanted a continuous light, so I could kinda get to almost there ish. I only have flash guns. So can be a bit of a long winded route using just them sometimes. My intention would be to use both.

Yes, from memory, one or two Godox flashguns that you've done incredibly well with, and you also have a neocrap.
IMO your natural progression is to a studio flash. You're in first gear, go into 2nd, not reverse
