it takes time, also this time of the year they have to be changed alot else they go moldy.

I had these fat balls up a while before anything came. First it was starlings who finished them in no time. Now getting great tits, blue tits and robins on them.

thanks for all the nice comments,pragmatist is totaly right take the balls out of the net and use a proper feeder. was my mistake when i started.

Fat balls seem to get eaten at an alarming rate in my garden, mostly the sparrows!

Excellent shot of a difficult bird to get. Try pushing some fat in to a pine cone.
