Golden Acre Park, Leeds

Took my macro lens out whilst the girlfriend walked my parents' dog. Tough to get any time taking shots, fire off a couple then ordered to 'keep up'!!:shrug:

So forgive these shots!

1st one - not sure what the fly is pinning down, and if he's enjoying a spot of lunch or having his way?

3 - behind a fence, so not really a macro shot as couldn't get near!

Some beautiful plants at Golden Acre, which encourages lots of insects. Shall have to pop back on my own next time so i can take my time and get something decent!

Golden acre park. Not far from Bramhope/Adel.

Is a park with a small lake, so plenty of birds about as well as the rather nice flowers they have planted round the side where the cafe is. Worth a visit, for a wander if nothing else!

Lovely, number 4 is my favourite. I love Golden Acre park - both my kids had their first trip to the park there! I went a couple of weeks ago with my camera and enjoyed wandering round, there's so much to see.
