I think this is called a reverse sunset(????).

Its just as the cloud reflects the warm light from the setting sun. I do love it when you get clouds like this in the east as the sun sets, top job

EDDO123....It's a classic "always look behind you" shot...you never know whats going on unless you look.

GARY.....With landscapes I nearly always only venture out Very early ar late....only time to find any light....during daylight I hunt wildlife.....mind you I know some Kingfishers that make me stay for the good light.
