Thanks guys, they were from my first visit up to the RSPB reserve at Lochwinnoch for about 20 odd years, going to make it a point to become a regular visitor again.

Cheers guys, it's very rarely I get this close to the birdies with my Sigma 70-300 to get nice clean shots, but hoping that I'll be upgrading to a 120-400 soon so that I can get a bit more consistency to them.

Thanks all for the comments, if the weather is a bit better tomorrow I'll venture back up and see what's around. Was hoping to have a nice new lens by now but finances took a wee turn for the worse so next week hopefully I'll be shopping around for my shiny new Sigma 120-400 (or something like that) (y)
