Hello from East Sussex. I've just inherited my father-in-law's Canon eos100d, with 18-55 kit lens. I've never owned a digital SLR before (though I used to have a Minolta 35mm SLR) but having used this for a few days I've already put my bridge camera up for sale!

I'll be looking to buy a used zoom lens to complement the kit lens, so will post some questions about that in the beginners' forum, as it's a bit of a minefield.
