I normally use Sandisk but bought a couple of Transcends for a new camcorder, because they were a lot cheaper. Used them in a compact too, during a recent trip to Rome. They seem to work perfectly.

I've been using the 8 & 16GB Class 10 cards from Transcend in my 500D & GF-1 and never noticed any issues regarding their speed.

Class 10 ones are 20mbps which is fast enough even for 1080p video on my 550d
When i used a class 4 the video would cut as soon as the buffer filled up as it couldnt off transfer it onto the memory card quick enough

Mine are Class 6, and seem to work perfectly well on the camcorder in 1080 HD mode. I haven't tried them for video on a DSLR - my 30D doesn't have this - and I don't shoot video on my compact.
