My wifes laptop on vista blah blah I dunno if that amkes a difference ..produces different search results on google than my system

Can anyone tell me where www.cricketpics.co.uk comes when searching

"cricket pics"
"cricket pictures"
"cricket photographs"


should all be in top ten..

"cricket pictures" - 7th text link
"cricket photographs" - 7th text link

All of them showed sample image results at the top.

If you're getting different results between PCs it's probably worth checking preferences of stuff like location, safe search and so on.
 
hmm right.. I get 5th on "cricket pics" but as with any other search if i refresh then the images link goes amking me 4th .. but two of those are from the same website.. like a sublink.. so if that wasn't there then 3rd.. hmmm Cheers divine :)
 
In at number 3 for cricket pics, bit lower for cricket pictures and similar place for cricket photographs when googled.:)
 
cheers.. its deffo settings then.. but happy that the majority will be seeing 3rd, 5tyh, 7th ... ta :)
 
If you're logged in to gmail/google on your own account then I wouldn't be surprised if the results you get back from google.com/co.uk are tailored to your 'ad-profile', so you might see some differences. Try logging out and searching again, in fact I might try it later as I'm curious now :)
 
You get different results when you are logged into Google, but you shouldnt when using different browsers.
 
Just as an aside....

If I go to your website in Safari and click on an album then on a picture the picture is covering what I think are the navigation links above it so all I can see are a few pixels.

Just checked and it does the same in firefox too.....

I got the same results
 
Same as above here. Although Google toolbar could be searching the .com site rather than the .co.uk site or such like firefox referal pages etc.

just a thought.

ooer cheers for that... I didnt try the browser font size to see what happens.. you have your font larger than medium then? I ahve now forced the font size.. I know thats naughty but at least I know the info I want on will show..

At least I hope its OK now?:)

I have to have the font size larger due to the resolution being 1920x1200. I have just tried it again and now I get half of the words so it is getting better but I still cannot read them.
