goose and swan

took these at the weekend, trying a new technique,

was struggling with light and just used shutter priority to keep the speeds up and tried to get as low to the water as posible, my elbow was in the water for the canadian goose shot

pic 2 confuses me ***! the "blur" of the goose's head! -is that motion blur or just it being out of focus?

anyway! don't listen to my tiny inane little annoyances

Nice and peaceful, I love the Swan's pose. I would have preferred the Canada Goose to be a little more left of frame rather than central.

The swan picture is excellent, lovely and sharp and well composed.

The goose picture is spoiled for me by the blurry bit above its head in the reflection and I agree with DonnaM's comments regarding the composition - but nothing which couldn't be sorted.
