Yay.....just got my shiny new Nikon 105 f2.8 VR......That will teach my wife to go away on holiday and leave me at home decorating

Is an awesome lens, I have had mine a few months and not really had a chance to play with it properly, while laying in bed yesterday resting my knee (suspected torn cartilidge), I had a quick play with it, boy is the DOF small.

As for a tip, use it with flash if you have one and use manual focus.
