Got my new tripod!

Well after a previous post about tripod recommendations I have finally bit the bullet and got one.

Ended up with a camlink TPPRO28B as shown in the picture below.

Well chuffed with it!

Makes a lot of difference using a tripod, hope you enjoy making good use of it. If you haven't gone shopping yet for a cable release it might be worth you looking into a wireless one. My cheepo off ebay arrived this morning and I'm more than happy with it. The battery for the transmitter looks like it has leeked a little but no problem for what it cost.

I got it from Jessops for £69. Its the one i decided I wanted but Jessops were only place that had it.

I think that's the same as mine. I can't get the legs to splay out beyond the normal position. What am I missing?

Might it be sturdy enough to take the likes of a gripped 5D body and a 70-200mm lens..? I'm on the look out for a tripod, at that price does it come with the head?

If you use a lens collar on the 70-200mm then it will be fine with that and your gripped body.
This particular tripod comes with a 3 *** pan and tilt head.
