Took my eldest lad for a meander around Brandon Marsh yesterday. Dreadfully grey, overcast skies meant high ISOs and not a great haul. He did better than me, chalking up 24 different species, not bad for a 10 year old.
Anyway, here's a Great Crested Grebe that sauntered past our hide at one point:

Got plenty of shots of them in obliging poses, but I like this one for the framing as it looks a little more "natural" to me.
