Great Crested Grebe with dinner

Strange light on this one as the Grebe was lit from the sun as it came out from behind the clouds, low on the horizon behind me...but the water was reflecting the grey cloudy sky directly overhead. I watched him catch and eat this fish (a perch) and managed a series of about 8 shots before it was gone. I like the first as it's the best technical shot of the bunch with the fish very clear etc and I like the second as the fish is going down and you can see both the tail and the lump in the Grebes throat, but the shot isn't pin sharp at full size due to lots of movement from the struggle.

great shot love these birds and the colours are brought out more by the sunlight
 
Two superb shots.............of something which I've never seen except on the telly (jealous? Me?) :clap::clap:
