Just a couple from the garden today on my latest 'natural' addition to the feeder - a birch log.

finally, the robin. I think this is one of this years brood, its much more cautious and nervous than previous robin, so this is first half decent shot, but opefully its getting better and more used to the shutter click.

1st one is amazing!
2nd one looks slighty OOF (the tree bit on the right looks spot on focus) but that could be my monitor.

Both are composed and exposed well with great background!! (y)
 
Two lovely captures Yvonne (y) My only crit is that your birch should be in my log fire keeping me warm :D
 
thanks guys. I had forgotten how hard it is to do birds at f2.8-ish with the weather being so pants :LOL:

u8myufo - I doubt it would burn for very well or for very long, I deliberately picked up a very soggy one that was just starting to rot so it had a bit of moss on it, but more importantly, that bit to the right is hollowed out and filled with my homemade fat ball mix. I am no wood worker, so it had to be one I could litterally pull bits out of :nuts:
