This little fellow seemed to have bitten off more that it could chew and just seemed to dare me to say something about its table manners.​

Got a cheepie 2x converter and first time out - makes focus fun and will have to treat myself to a heavier tripod. I keep expecting a beak to poke out of the viewfinder!

Yes this was possibly 800 asa as light was pretty poor and didn't want to overdo the flash. They seem to like to come and feed about an hour before sunset! It is a juggle between a decent asa setting and exposure as this little fellow is all of a high speed twitch!
