Caught this little guy hanging about watching the sunset last night, very pleased with the shot i managed to get!

Nice picture! Not a big fan of spiders so may have used a telephoto lens myself lol. What camera/lens did you use?

Works well that James, I like the color and the smooth bokeh, my only crit is the rather central composition better to place the spider on one of the focal points.

Thanks Jim! I used a Nikon D5500 and stock 18-55mm lens at full zoom, i was taking the pic through a window so could get nice and close

Thanks Steve, yes i toyed with the central position and off centre but went central as i feel it mirrors the symmetry of the spider

Nice - I prefer central. Might be worth trying a square crop. Was this shot through a window? There are some odd marks to either side of the spider.

Yes shot though a rather dirty window and cleaned up afterwards, will try a square crop
