I was lucky to be around when she took off today. Sorry the pics aren't great, I had to run a long way before she took off!! A nice afternoon for flying, there was plenty of activity at white waltham today...

Ground shots always lack a sense of drama imo, but it's a lovely capture of an XI, pity about the background on 3, it detracts from the take off image a little.

Hangar 11 had a P40 Kittyhawk, thats a real stunner

Thankyou for all your comments guys. I'm getting to grips with my 70-200 L lens now. I think its going to be too short for almost all airshows, but my old sigma 135-400mm was pretty poor. I'm off to low fly in wales on may the 1st and 2nd with dinof, Cant wait for that!!!
