Had to get rid of a few old drives so took a few shots of the internals while breaking them up.

Great detail, what a wonderful idea

Another nice set :)

I was thinking of doing something similar myself as I have a pile of computer bits that are gathering dust.

Thinking of something similar with an ancient motherboard.

Thanks for looking folks, it makes a change from the insects from me ;)

Great set! No 2 for me as well! Any idea what setting you used for this?

Thanks all for looking ;)
Rob I used 1/200 and f5 on a couple and f10 on the other 2 iso 400, exif data is still in the images. Shot with the canon 40d and mp-e65 for 2 and the Sigma 50 ex f2.8 macro for the other 2. I used flash also, the MT 24 with the mp-e and the 430ex with the sigma shots and diffused the output with plastic diffusers.

Makes a nice change from bugs! Nice work.

Saw these on your Flikr.............good to see some unusual subjects in close up.............easier to keep still than bugs as well:)
